"Captain Charisma" has his eyes on a few WWE stars.
Former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Christian has his eyes locked on the professional wrestling scene as he and WWE Hall Of Famer Edge chat with numerous wrestlers from various promotions and companies on the E&C Pod Of Awesomeness. On their podcast, they give their takes on certain matches and in-ring performers and Christian discussed the current crop of wrestlers when he joined talkSPORT's 'Pro Wrestling Show' podcast.
Christian shared that he is enjoying the work of NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano and Aleister Black. Christian added that he has also enjoyed the in-ring work of the newly-crowned RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival.
"As far as NXT goes, I really like the work that Tommaso Ciampa has done over the last year. I think that it?s a real skill to be truly hated these days. Johnny Gargano is another guy that I really like watching. Aleister Black as well." He continued, "On the main roster, I really like the stuff The Revival has been doing the last few weeks and they?ve really stepped up their game -- out there performing with a chip on their shoulder and to me, obviously coming from a tag team background with Edge and Christian, tag team wrestling will always have a special place in my heart and I hope that it thrives for those guys to go out there and compete and kind of will their way onto the show every week in a prominent role." Christian explained. "Like the same thing we did with the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz ? you just have to go out there with a chip on your shoulder, prove it, force your way and will your way onto the show and it seems like those guys are doing that.?
