Chuck Taylor: I Couldn't Help Orange Cassidy On 3/15 AEW Dynamite Due To Emergency Dental Surgery

Chuck Taylor explains his absence from the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.

As a member of Best Friends, Taylor often accompanies Orange Cassidy to the ring for his matches, and he helps "Freshly Squeezed" when the numbers game isn't in his favor. But Taylor was conspicuous by his absence on the March 15 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Cassidy defended the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Jeff Jarrett on the show. As he usually does, Jarrett had Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh in his corner. All three of them interfered in the match, and while Trent Beretta came to the ring to help Cassidy, Taylor was nowhere to be found.

In a tweet, Taylor explained that he couldn't help Cassidy because he had emergency dental surgery. He also noted that he hoped Greg (Beretta) got him a ticket for Shazam! Fury Of The Gods. In the tweet, Taylor included a picture of his bloody mouth and his X-ray.

As of this writing, it is unclear whether Taylor will miss any time due to the surgery.

Despite Taylor's absence, Cassidy persevered and defeated Jarrett.

AEW previously announced that Cassidy's All-Atlantic Championship would be "leveled up" and renamed the International Championship as part of a promotion for Shazam! Fury of the Gods. More information is available here.
