Chyna's Mother Attempting To Gain Control Of Daughter's Estate

Chyna's mom says she needs help to win control of Chyna's remaining estate from her manager.

Chyna passed away in April. After her death the WWE paid tribute to her as a pioneer for women. Triple H said she deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. Crowdfunding has appeared in order to help her family regain control of Chyna's assets. In a post on Facebook, Mick Foley says he spoke with Chyna's mother about the situation and provided a link to a funding webpage.

Harley Cameron Says Saraya Is 'Currently Incapacitated' After Saraya's Rules Match On AEW Rampage

"I had a nice talk with Joanie Laurer's mom yesterday. While Joanie had been estranged from her mother for much of her adult life, including the entirety of her WWE run, the two eventually made peace and had become quite close by the end of Joanie's life. Joanie's mom is attempting to gain control of her daughter's estate – but is trying to do it on a very limited budget, and the legal costs are more than she can handle. Don't be fooled by the word "estate" - there is not a lot of money left, if any. But Chyna's mom is attempting to do the right thing by allowing whatever personal effects she did leave behind to stay with the family and not with her manager, so that her family may finally be at peace with her loss. Whatever help you can give will be much appreciated," wrote Mick Foley.

The crowdfunding page is on generosity.com, an affiliate of indiegogo.com. On the page, it states it was started by fans of Chyna on behalf of Chyna's mother Janet Laque. The page says Laque is protecting Chyna's rights from her former manager. Laque left a message on the page that says she needs financial help because she and her husband are retirees. Also, Chyna's estate seems to be of so little value, it could not pay the legal cost.

The crowdfunding has a goal of $20,000. At this time, only seven percent has been raised.
