CJ Perry Says She Owns The Name 'Lana,' Prefers Using It Over Real Name

It is unknown what the next move is for CJ Perry (Lana) in wrestling, but she's always making plans with her name.

During an East Coast Autograph Auctions virtual signing, CJ polled the audience as to which name should she use if she signed with another company.

When mentioning Lana as one of the names, she said, "I own that. Owning 'Lana' is like owning the name 'Mike.' You can't. In my contract, they own Rusev because it's so specific, but they don't own Lana because you can't."

After taking suggestions on which she name she should use between Lana and CJ Perry, Lana said, "I would rather come out as Lana because at the end of the day, I would rather just not come out with my real name."

CJ was released by WWE on June 2. She is set to star in the Surreal Life reboot later this year. A premiere date for the show has not been given.

Elsewhere during the virtual signing, CJ discussed the possibility of going to AEW. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
