Clarifying Details On How WWE Is Using AI

WWE hired Cyrus Kowsari as the Senior Director of Creative Strategy in early October, with reports indicating that he would AI into creative services like video and graphics.

The Wrestling Observer reported, “Kowsari said he would both manage AI storytelling and be a liaison to the White House, as Levesque is taking on more duties in politics in some form. WWE has a contract with Writer AI, a platform which has already been fed WWE content.”

Fightful Select spoke to a number of people in WWE, including top talent and near creative, about the overreaction to WWE using AI.

WWE creative has had AI software for years, but it’s barely used, and basically a glorified creative assistant. It’s supposed to be used more on the production end to organize things, and do things like eliminate background noise from certain shots.

One top talent said “Michael Hayes, Ed Koskey and Paul Heyman are not AI”
