Like several wrestlers in the current generation, Claudio is an avid gamer, with League Of Legends being the one he plays the most at this current point. Castagnoli was recently in attendance at the 2026 League Of Legends World Championships, and considered the possibility of attempting to develop a career in Esports.
While speaking to The Load-In with Paul Delos Santos in a new interview, Claudio Castagnoli discussed the possibility of beginning a career in Esports.
“I guess we have to wait and see, but it’s just fun to watch. For me, it’s… I don’t think I could do it while being active. It takes a whole lot of time and it takes a whole lot of effort, and I just know how hard it is for somebody to get into wrestling. So it’s probably the same. I mean, it is the same getting into the league, especially getting into the league at that level. So, you just have to wait and see.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Claudio compared Esports feats with his feats in the pro wrestling ring. You can read more about that here.
