Claudio Castagnoli will be going for the gold currently held by Kazuchika Okada.

By defeating Lee Moriarty and Tomohiro Ishii on the August 3 episode of AEW Saturday Collision, Claudio Castagnoli has earned a shot at the AEW Continental Title currently held by the Kazuchika Okada.

After hitting him with a running uppercut, Claudio won the match by pinning Moriarty with a running uppercut.
