CM Punk And AJ Lee To Face Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch At WWE Wrestlepalooza

AJ Lee returns to Raw.

Following her record-breaking viral return to WWE on SmackDown, the ‘Black Widow’ made her way to the Cream City for Monday’s episode of Raw.

As you would expect, Lee’s entrance got a massive reaction from the fans in the building. With the Women’s Intercontinental Championship around her waist, Lee was swarmed with ‘welcome back’ chants.

Lee reintroduced herself to the audience, bragging that she is your favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler. The 38-year-old talked about her post-retirement journeys and encouraged fans to keep fighting through their mental health battles.

Then, Lee recalled watching Raw one night, where she saw CM Punk in the ring with Becky Lynch. Lee slammed Lynch for “motorboating” Punk and berating him. Lynch arrived moments later, sucking the energy out of the crowd.

Lynch started off her promo with a bang, saying that this has nothing to do with Lee’s “stank ass husband”. ‘The Man’ got frustrated with Lee for possessing her title, but the fans bombarded her with “you suck” chants.

Lee pointed out Lynch’s black eye before inviting her to the ring to take back her championship. Predictably, Lynch refused to enter the ring, instead insulting Punk and Lee further before inviting Rollins to the arena.

Rollins told Lee to give the title back to Lynch. Lee responded by proposing that Rollins and Lynch face herself and Punk in a tag match. Rollins entered the ring to retrieve the belt, but Lee stopped him multiple times. Rollins started to yell at Lee, allowing Punk to hit the ring and nearly nail him with a GTS.

The segment ended with Rollins accepting the challenge for WWE Wrestlepalooza.
