CM Punk apologizes.
In 2020, CM Punk tweeted at The Miz, "Go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you fucking dork."
The tweet was in reply to Miz joking about "changing the culture" on WWE Backstage.
Punk is Saudi Arabia for WWE Night of Champions, where he will challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
During the Kickoff Show, Punk was asked by a fan to apologize for his tweet.
"This guy wants me to apologize for a tweet I wrote six years ago. Listen, legitimately had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I woke up and I was crabby and I wrote a mean tweet to the Miz. I apologized to The Miz and sir, I sincerely apologize to you and Saudi Arabia. I am not perfect by any means. Sometimes, as human beings, we screw up. The beautiful thing is, everything is a lesson learned. Now, here I am, and you have invited me to your country and I am grateful to be here. Thank you very much," said Punk.
