CM Punk Reflects On WWE Raw Match With Bron Breakker, ‘I Survived’
CM Punk discusses his match with Bron Breakker.
The January 5 episode of WWE Raw was headlined by a World Heavyweight Championship match between Punk and Breakker. Despite interference from Paul Heyman and The Vision, Punk was able to pull out the win, defeating Breakker via pinfall.
Speaking with Fox 5 New York for a new interview, Punk said that he survived the match.
“I did. I survived.”
When asked about his ear being bruised purple, CM Punk brushed it off.
“Yeah, that happens. Last night, I wrestled a maniacal meathead that was trying to kill me.”
The outlet then brought up Bron Breakker’s attempts to make their feud personal.
“They all try to rise to my level and get personal. I think that’s what the people like though. There’s an old saying, personal rivalries draw money and that’s all we’re trying to do.”
