CM Punk To Defend 'Real' World Title Against Samoa Joe At AEW All In

CM Punk dresses up like The Golden Vampire and gets the jump on Samoa Joe, accepting his challenge for AEW All In London.

Samoa Joe thought he was coming out to the ring on August 19's AEW Saturday Collision to defeat a colorfully dressed enhancement talent. He was in for a shock.

Instead, he was attacked by CM Punk, who was dressed up as "The Golden Vampire," putting Samoa Joe to sleep before accepting Samoa Joe's challenge for a singles match at AEW All In in London.

Samoa Joe had previously challenged CM Punk to meet him in the middle of the ring to properly settle their decades-long score on August 27 in Wembley Stadium. Joe became incensed with facing CM Punk one more time after their match in the Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament ended with a roll-up.

CM Punk did not immediately respond to Joe, and this led to the Samoan Submission Machine choking out CM Punk during the main event of the August 12 episode of Collision as CMFTR attempted to wrestle away the AEW World Trios Championship from the House of Black.

Now, CM Punk has accepted the challenge, and they will meet each other for the Real World Championship in Wembley Stadium. This will be the first time that CM Punk is defending a championship against Samoa Joe.
