CM Punk appeared on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox to chat movies, television, and promote his upcoming film “Night Patrol.”

During the interview, Punk was asked for his favorite horror villain.

Punk questioned if Michael Myers was a villain, and Robbie wondered why he wouldn’t be.

Punk responded, “Freddy Krueger molested children, and people are stoked on him. I guess that makes him a republican.”

Well then.

Punk did confirm that Myers is his favorite villain.

Punk plays a vampire in “Night Patrol,” which releases on January 16th.
