CM Punk is clearly not a Hulk Hogan fan based on a new interview.
When asked by Ryan Chiaverini of Windy City LIVE who his favorite wrestler was growing up, CM Punk replied, "Rowdy Roddy Piper." Chiaverini was thrown off by the answer, wondering why Punk didn't name Hulk Hogan, who was Chiaverini's favorite as a child.
Punk replied, "Nah, I wasn't a Hogan guy. I've met him, and like him even less now. Fuck him."
In an interview with Steve Austin earlier this year, Hogan revealed he could have heat with Punk over not saying hello to him at Raw 15th Anniversary.
Hogan stated, "When I went back for Raw's 15th Anniversary, I walked in the dressing room and there was a guy named CM Punk. I didn't know who he was. I heard that I had heat because I didn't say hello to him. I remember that night, I was going through so much crap at home and my life was falling apart. When I walked through the dressing room, all I could think about was, 'I need to get home and fix my life.' I don't remember seeing, meeting, talking or disrespecting anybody that day but I had to live with that because I was in that space."
Punk has not commented on why he dislikes like Hogan, but he did say "Hogan makes people uncomfortable for a lot of reasons" in a recent appearance on The Herd.
