CM Punk: I Don’t Travel Anymore. My Horse Is Sick

CM Punk has jokes in his return to commentary at Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

Punk has been off WWE television since the Raw after WrestleMania, but he was back in the booth for CFFC, his first CFFC event since October 2024.

CFFC 156 took place in Chicago, with Punk’s commentary partner John Morgan saying, that they were bringing the event to Punk.

Punk joked, “I don’t travel anymore. My horse is sick.”

Terry Funk used the ol’ “my hose is sick” excuse before Survivor Series 1993 when he was booked to be one of the hooded knights for Jerry Lawler, who was in a feud with Bret Hart.

Later in the event, Punk was asked if he would be on commentary for upcoming CFFC events, to which he replied, “Is that a Friday? I don’t know if I can make it.”

CM Punk is reportedly set to join SmackDown when he returns to WWE TV.
