CM Punk: If Roman Reigns Had A Say In My Return, He Should’ve Said No
CM Punk made his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 after nearly a decade away from the company.
Roman Reigns was at the top of the promotion when Punk returned, and during the lead up to their WrestleMania 42, Reigns mentioned that he had to sign off on Punk’s return.
Speaking to Corey Graves for WWE, Punk was asked if that was true.
“I don’t know how true that is. Either way, it kind of tickles me because it means he either thinks or is some form of office, which is laughable, but it also gives me something to kind of rage against. Me and management have never really seen eye-to-eye on things. It would make sense that he has a say, but also, if you had that say, brother, you should’ve said no. It would’ve made your life a whole lot easier,” he said.
Punk infamously clashed with WWE during his time away from the company through interviews and even the courtroom.
CM Punk will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Reigns at WrestleMania 42.
