CM Punk: IYO SKY And Rhea Ripley Are The Future

CM Punk has praise for both IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

In recent months, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY have gotten closer amidst their rivalry with the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). The pair continued their partnership during WWE’s recent tour of Japan, sharing a moment with Punk in the ring following a live event. 

In a new YouTube vlog chronicling Punk’s tour in Japan with WWE, CM Punk had praise for both SKY and Ripley.

“IYO SKY is consistently I think the best wrestler that we have. Rhea is probably a close second, but you talk about superstar and I don’t think it’s a secret that I was one of Rhea’s favorites when she was a kid growing up and it’s kind of no different than the fan that says ‘I’m sober because of you’ or ‘I waited 19 years to see you.’ I just want to give back because I’m so full of gratitude. Those two are the future.”
