CM Punk and Cora Jade reunite.
Many years ago, a young Cora Jade met CM Punk. Cora began crying upon meeting Punk, who was a childhood hero for her.
Years later, Punk and Jade were in the same building for NXT Deadline, and they were able to reunite. Punk walked up to Cora in the middle of a backstage interview and said that he is proud of Cora and that she should be proud of herself. He also said that his wife AJ Lee is proud of her too.

Jade returned at NXT Deadline, her first appearance on NXT TV after "leaving" in August, to put the NXT women's division on notice.
Punk was at NXT to have a face-to-face meeting with Shawn Michaels.
