CM Punk Says He’s Been Offered A Directing Job In Film/Television
CM Punk has another gig lined up at some point.
Punk has ventured outside of the world of wrestling over the years, notably competing in the UFC, writing comic books, and securing roles in television and film.
Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, Punk was asked if he ever had thoughts of directing one day.
“It’s been offered. It’s one of those things, a lot like writing comic books or fighting in the UFC where it was offered to me and it’s kind of unknown and scary, so now I have to do it. The V/H/S series is a pretty good way to get my feet wet in that regard. It’s definitely something that is more than likely going to happen within the next year. It got offered to me and I just went, ‘Why me?’ ‘Why not?’ ‘Okay.’ Now, I have to do this,” he said.
Punk is featured in the upcoming film “Night Patrol,” which will be released on January 16th.
Elsewhere during the interview, Punk accused Freddy Krueger of being a republican. You can find out why here.
