CM Punk Says Security Has Talked To Him About The Stage Dives

CM Punk wasted no time familiarizing himself with the fans upon his return to wrestling.

During his entrance at the United Center for AEW Rampage: The First Dance, Punk lept off the ramp and into the crowd, causing the security guard to seemingly panic as he tried to recuse Punk from the crowd.

Punk has kept the stage dive part of his routine ever since.

"(Security has) talked to me about it," Punk said on AEW Unrestricted. "They lean towards trying to tell me not to do it, but they're also like, 'is this going to be a thing? Can we maybe not...' I'm like, 'Guys, I don't know, I just go out there.' The time I did it in New Jersey, there was a dude who was like, 'I'm gonna catch you.' I was like, 'Okay, good to know,' so I did it. It's all spur of the moment. It really is."

Punk, Tony Schiavone, and Aubrey Edwards joked that fans will start buying up potential stage dive seats quicker, but they'll need to meet the requirement of being willing to catch Punk.

During the New York Athletic Commission rules, Punk was unable to stage dive on the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite.
