CM Punk To Roman Reigns: I’m Gonna Bury You Next To Your Father
CM Punk is going to bury Roman Reigns.
This week’s episode of WWE Raw was capped off with an appearance from Roman Reigns. After greeting the crowd with his Acknowledge Me catchphrase, Reigns was almost immediately interrupted by CM Punk.
Punk started off with some light-hearted banter, asking ‘OTC1’ about his angry demeanor. Reigns joked about his tweet upsetting Punk, but the ‘Best In The World’ said that he doesn’t get made about tweets or what people say about him on podcasts.
Punk continued on and complained about having to carry Reigns and his bullshit for seven more weeks. Punk then talked about their history in Indianapolis and how he brought him to “the dance”. Reigns responded by saying that Punk brought Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to the “the dance”, not him.
Then, Punk recalled his last encounter with Reigns and bragged about being in his head and making him emotional. This really fired Reigns up, as he responded by telling Punk that he wouldn’t even exist on his radar if he wasn’t holding the World Heavyweight Championship.
Reigns continued to dig deep, saying that WWE brought back Punk to entertain 30 to 40 year old virgins, sell some t-shirts, and draw tickets in Chicago. Reigns also called bluff on Punk’s positive demeanor, saying that everyone knows he’s not actually having fun or being a locker room leader. Reigns finished off by saying that he’s going to send Punk on a retirement tour so he can go to NXT and teach the next generation before they inevitably get stacked and smashed as well.
Punk got the last word in and targeted Reigns for being alone with no wiseman or family to help him out. After scoffing at the notion of Reigns retiring him, Punk put the dagger in and said that he’s going to bury Reigns next to his father.
