CM Punk: Women’s WarGames Should Main Event WWE Survivor Series

CM Punk is advocating for the women’s WarGames match to main event WWE Survivor Series.

CM Punk and his wife AJ Lee will compete at WWE Survivor Series as Punk will team with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) to take on Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar, and Drew McIntyre.

Lee will team with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss against Kairi Sane, Asuka, Lash Legend, Nia Jax, & Becky Lynch.

Speaking to Kay Adams on Up & Adams, Punk threw his support for the women to main event the show.

“I’m a little biased. My wife is obviously in that match and I’m excited to watch it. I think the women should be the main event, selfishly. I do think us guys will main event. There are two titles involved there, though they are not on the line. Star power is off the charts, but I also think the star power is off the charts when it comes to the women. AJ Lee coming back to wrestling and being in a cage match is a big deal. She gets to punch Becky Lynch in the face. I can only imagine how good that is going to feel. IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, just a huge All-Star blue-eyed babyface dream team. I can’t wait to see all those girls. It’s almost like the Breakfast Club. They have their bender, their princess, their nerd, their jock, and their crazy goth. There is something about that team,” he said.
