CM Punk & Drew McIntyre Exchange Heated Words On 1/8 WWE Raw, McIntyre Casts Doubt On Future In WWE

CM Punk returns to Raw.

'The Best In The World' made his long awaited return to the brand on the January 8 episode of Raw, interrupting Drew McIntyre's promo that opened the show.

McIntyre's promo started with more doubts about his future in the company, as he teased the idea of leaving for nine years, only to come back to open arms in a similar way that Punk did.

Punk then gave the floor to McIntyre, who proceeded to note that he's one of the guys that has traveled the world with Punk over the years. McIntyre then made fun of Punk for calling himself a locker room leader back in the day before telling Punk that he is now his locker room leader.

Punk refuted McIntyre's comments about him being the devil by saying that he can become Satan himself when he's pushed too far. Moments later, Punk reiterated that he's not hear to make friends, he's hear to win the Royal Rumble and main event WrestleMania.

The segment ended with Punk telling McIntyre that he's going to lead by example and leave the ring before he knocks his teeth down his throat. Punk also noted that he plans to throw Drew McIntyre out of the ring last in the Royal Rumble match.
