Cody Deaner Loses To Eddie Edwards At TNA Under Siege, Will Not Receive New Contract

Deaner's TNA run is over.

The second match of the night at TNA Under Siege saw Eddie Edwards take on Cody Deaner. Deaner's TNA contract expired at the beginning of May and the opportunity to potentially secure a new deal was presented to him via a match against Edwards.

If he won, Director of Authority Santino Marella would talk to the Board of Directors about offering Deaner a new deal.

Come time for Under Siege, Alisha Edwards hit Deaner with a low blow while the referee was not looking. Eddie followed up with a 'Boston Knee Party' to pick up the win.

Deaner's TNA career is now over and post-match, The System (Moose, Brian Myers & J.D.C.) came out to verbally berate Deaner. Making the save was The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams) to set up a six-man tag between the two sides.
