In August 2025, Dustin Rhodes had to step away from in-ring competition, and he underwent double knee replacement surgery.

Dustin’s name came up multiple times during the latest episode of his brother Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast. Cody said the following about Dustin when asked how Dustin is doing:

“How is he? Double knee surgery. What the — who gets double knees? Who gets both knees at the same time?”

Dustin noted that he’s hoping to be back in the ring by March.
