All Elite Wrestling are willing to work with anyone.
Prior to the AEW Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party this past Thursday, AEW announced on social media that they had formed a partnership with Lucha Libre AAA. This marks the second partnership AEW has formed since their inception earlier this year. The promotion also has a working relationship with OWE out of China.
Speaking to the media after the Ticket Announcement Party, AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes discussed the partnership with AAA and working with other promotions.
"I was excited because (Lucha Libre AAA General Manager Dorian Roldan), we put a post on our social channels talking about cross-promotion but it's more of a friendship than partnership," said Cody. "You will see guys cross that line. This might piss some people off but there are some dated, weird, antiquated systems. 'Well, we only work with these people.' Our bridges are down. We want to work with everybody."
Nick Jackson added, "Why wouldn't you want to work with us?"
According to PWInsider, AEW relationship with AAA will not effect IMPACT Wrestling's relationship with AAA.
