Cody Rhodes Doesn’t Think He’ll Ever Win The United States Championship
Cody Rhodes has more to accomplish.
Two things have evaded ‘The American Nightmare’ throughout his time in WWE — the United States Championship and the Money In The Bank contract.
While he has a chance to win the briefcase in this year’s Money In The Bank match, Rhodes doesn’t think that the United States Championship is in his future.
“I haven’t won Money In The Bank. I think the only other title on the board for WWE is the United States title, which I don’t think will probably ever happen in my career. But those are the things.” Rhodes told Flagrant in a new interview.
In an effort to stir up some conversation, Rhodes proceeded to say that he still wants to accomplish things that people don’t see coming.
“I think the things that haven’t been done, not to sound grand or vague or both, are things we haven’t seen coming yet.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Cody told a funny story involving Solo Sikoa, Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
