It looks like Impact Wrestling won’t have an appearance from either Cody or Brandy Rhodes any time soon, or even ever.
Brandi recently revealed on Twitter that Cody’s dates with the company have been finished for a while now with no indication that they'll return anytime soon.
Cody has been touring all over the world for numerous promotions, competing for promotions such as EVOLVE, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he is a current member of the Bullet Club stable. He left WWE last year where he was a former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion. He recently revealed in an interview with CBS that he has not decided on a permanent home in professional wrestling and will not decide anytime soon.
"I guess I spoke too soon," Rhodes said. "It’s probably not time to make a decision...Honestly, any offer that came my way I haven’t really looked at. My date book is still pretty deep — all the way through September. It goes everywhere. We’ll probably revisit it then."
Cody has not been competing for Impact Wrestling since the March 30 episode when Cody competed against Moose for the Impact Grand Championship. Cody had been competing for Impact sporadically since last October on a non-exclusive deal.
