Cody Rhodes Gives AEW Dynamite An A For First Five Weeks

Cody Rhodes is happy with how AEW Dynamite has been executed in its first few weeks.

During an interview on the Cheap Heat Podcast, Cody said he gives AEW Dynamite’s first five weeks an A, while giving four of those first five shows an A+. Cody added that one thing he’s had to do since Dynamite began is to stop being a fan at times.

“Oh, I would give it an A. I’d say four of the five shows I would give an A+. I only say that because the execution is the main thing. We have to execute and we have this long form plan and we have this for quite been planning this for quite some time and it’s a lot more traditional booking versus writing. With traditional booking, you’re going backwards from these major events. I have to stop being a fan on a pretty regular basis when it comes to Dynamite itself and when it comes to TV,” Rhodes said.

Although Cody is happy with how Dynamite has been performing, even drawing more than a million viewers in a couple of the first episodes, his focus is now on the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. Cody will take on Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear and if Cody loses, he said he will never challenge for the AEW title ever again. Fightful will have live coverage of Full Gear.
