Abyss was a staple of TNA Wrestling throughout the early and Spike TV days of the company, winning the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship and more gold during his time with the company.
He is now a producer in WWE, and featured in the Dunks & Destruction pack in WWE 2K25.
Speaking on What Do You Wanna Talk About? Cody Rhodes revealed he's been pushing for Abyss to be in the Royal Rumble.
"One that I've been trying for years and it's just not going to happen, I keep trying to get Abyss into the Royal Rumble," said Cody.
Cody's guest Kevin Owens said, "It came so close one year."
"I know. Just one," said Cody.
Owens closed by saying, "I think it's too late. He's lost too much weight. Putting him in the ring at this point when he walks that way would be illegal. We love Chris."
Cody and Owens went on to praise Abyss as a producer.
