Cody Rhodes Names Members Of AEW’s Roster He Still Wants To Wrestle

With no direct path to a singles championship in sight, Cody Rhodes still has a few names on the AEW roster that he would like to test his mettle against.

At the second Full Gear pay-per-view, Cody Rhodes lost his TNT Championship for the second time. In the end, he would hand the championship to Darby Allin as a sign of respect before attempting to aid Darby in fighting off Team Taz, who jumped Allin after the match.

Speaking with Bleacher Report prior to the pay-per-view, Cody Rhodes named a few competitors on the All Elite Wrestling roster he still wants to test his skills against.

“Angelico from TH2 is someone I want to test myself against," Rhodes said. "I've never actually had a singles match with 'Hangman' Adam Page. I think a match we wanted to happen so many times but was hurt by the pandemic was Pac. We've both grown so much from Neville and Stardust and to be able to show the world that would be really special.”

Cody's future is up in the air as a singles competitor. Following Full Gear, he no longer has a hold on TNT title and due to a stipulation from last year's Full Gear oh, he can never challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Cody Rhodes recently addressed the media in a conference call building up this pay-per-view, where he discusses obtaining the legal rights to his last name, how he feels about year one rookies and more.
