Cody Rhodes To Play Guile In 'Street Fighter'

Cody Rhodes will be playing Guile in "Street Fighter."

Deadline reports that Cody Rhodes has been cast as Guile in the upcoming "Street Fighter" film.

The film will be directed by Kitao Sakurai. The film adaptation is being co-developed and co-produced alongside Capcom, the developer and publisher of the video games.

Guile is known for his flat-top haircut, "Sonic Boom" attack, and iconic theme song. He is a colonel in the United States Air Force and a family man.

Jean-Claude Van Damme portrayed Guile in the 1994 "Street Fighter" film.

Rhodes joins Roman Reigns in the film. Reigns will be portraying Akuma.

Rhodes already has an upcoming role in "The Naked Gun" reboot.

On WWE television, Rhodes won the 2025 King of the Ring tournament, defeating Jey Uso in the finals. Rhodes will challenge John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam.
