Cody Rhodes suffered a shoulder injury during his match vs Kazuchika Okada last weekend at the G1 Special in Long Beach. To add insult to injury, Rhodes lost the match and was unable to capture the IWGP Heavyweight Title.
But though there's not much to be done to remedy the loss, at least it turns out that the injury wasn't too serious and Cody will not be missing any time.
Cody secured the Ring Of Honor World Championship at Best In The World back on June 23rd and continues to be prominently featured among the ranks of the Bullet Club in New Japan.
