Cody Rhodes wants to lead Team USA.
It is official for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames that a five-on-five traditional Survivor Series match. It will be Team USA versus Team Mexico, and leading the Mexico team will be WWE and AAA Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
After Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel, he appeared on the post-show and proposed that he lead Team USA at Survivor Series.
“Rey Mysterio’s over there on Stephanie’s podcast talking about a Team Mexico versus Team USA. Sounds great. He’s gonna lead Team Mexico. I’d love to — Team USA, lead them along, find a team of my own. That sounds like something I’d like to do. Rey Mysterio, if you’re listening to me, let’s make that happen at Survivor Series. Let’s do that; you’re on.”
