Cody Rhodes Provides Update On Peacock Documentary, Says The Release Date Is 'TBD'

Cody Rhodes provides an update on his Peacock documentary.

As Fightful Select previously reported, Rhodes has been working on a documentary about his father, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. But "The American Nightmare" will be the subject of another program that will stream on Peacock.

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Rhodes was asked about the crew that was with him, as they were shooting the interview. He responded by noting that Peacock is making a documentary about him, and he jokingly called it "The Documentary That Has No Ending" because the process has continued with no official end in sight.

“I have what I’d say kind of adversarial relationship with this crew that’s on the other side of your camera. Peacock has been shooting a documentary on me is that I kind of dub the documentary that has no ending. They just keep filming, keep shooting. So the Royal Rumble would have been great. Hey, I won the Royal Rumble, I came back after I had torn my pec, punched the ticket to WrestleMania, the biggest WrestleMania of all time, in the main event, finally. Perfect. That’s it. Now, they’re still here. I know these guys well to the point where we don’t like each other anymore. We’re at that point in the relationship. Loved each other. Now we’re at the point more like, ‘Ah, there’s Matt. Uh, here we go.’ Hopefully, by the end, we’ll like each other again. But yeah, the documentary with no ending. So maybe this could be it, though. Rich-Cody three, call it," Rhodes said.

Rhodes then suggested that WrestleMania 39 could be a fitting choice for the conclusion of the documentary, especially if he defeats Roman Reigns when he challenges "The Tribal Chief" for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

When Eisen joked that the documentary will come out in 2026, Rhodes noted that it's release date is "TBD."

Rhodes recently stated that he almost got into a fist fight with Seth Rollins. Check out his comments here.
