Cody Rhodes' Resolution, Scorpio Sky Takes A Back Seat, Best Of TNA | WWE x IMPACT x ROH Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following IMPACT Wrestling, ROH on HonorClub, and WWE's special preview of 2024 which aired live on Peacock.

Below are highlights of all three events that aired on Thursday, January 4, 2023:

TNA iMPACT! (5/2) Draws 80,000 Viewers, Key Demo Rating Holds Steady Since January

WWE Preview Special

- This special featured an interview with Cody Rhodes where he declared that his New Year goal is to be a better father and instead of saying he wants to finish the story, he hypothesized that WWE will have a better year than it did in 2023.

- Rhea Ripley was also interviewed. She gave her thoughts on working against Ivy Nile on WWE Day 1 and stated that R-Truth is better off staying with The Miz because Judgment Day is done entertaining him.

- Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were also interviewed and previewed their upcoming reality series: Love & WWE. The series will debut on February 2 on Hulu and features Ford and Belair's lives in front of and behind the scenes at WWE as they were preparing for WWE WrestleMania 39 in 2023.

- Shinsuke Nakamura and Becky Lynch officially declared for the Royal Rumble during this special.

- NXT was represented on the special as Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes were interviewed. Melo spoke about getting his first opportunities on Smackdown at the end of 2023 and feeling like there is unfinished business.

- During his interview, CM Punk addressed his issues with Seth Rollins and the hopes that he will potentially end up on the opposite end of the squared circle from "The Visionary."

- ICYMI: WWE Money in the Bank and NXT Heatwave are headed to Toronto in July 2024.

- An interview with Paul Heyman closed out the show. Heyman simply said that nobody will be able to slow down Roman Reigns' momentum.

IMPACT Wrestling

- The most recent episode of IMPACT was a look back at the rich history of TNA Wrestling. The TNA brand will be returning with TNA Hard To Kill 2024.

- The first match that was replayed was the very first match in the history of TNA, AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, & Low Ki vs The Flying Elvises (Jorge Estrada, Sonny Siaki & Jimmy Yang). This match originally aired on June 19, 2002.

- The recap continued with the TNA Wrestling debut of Christian Cage from TNA Genesis 2005.

- Kurt Angle's debut was also replayed. Angle originally debuted on October 19, 2006.

- As the retrospective continued, Eric Young was interviewed by Tom Hannifan

- The show closed out with a replay of what is, arguably the best match that ever occurred in TNA: Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Unbreakable 2005.

Ring of Honor

- In a backstage interview with Lexy Nair, The Men of The Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky) said that 2024 would be their year. Sky, because Ethan was by his side during his run as TNT Champion, said that he is more than happy to take a back seat for Ethan at this time in his career.

- Kyle Fletcher successfully defended the ROH TV Title over Willie Mack.

- Dalton Castle picked up a victory over Peter Avalon and later got into a confrontation with Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie.

- Lance Archer, Queen Aminata, and Red Velvet picked up strong victories. After her victory, Velvet declared that she eventually wanted to be Ring of Honor Women's TV Champion.

- Griff Garrison scored a victory over Serpentico.

- In tag team action, Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty) defeated The Infantry (Carlie Bravo & Shawn Dean) & The Boys (Brandon Tate & Brent Tate).

- In the headlining bout, El Hijo Del Vikingo, Komander, and Lee Johnson defeated The Workhorsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry) & Gringo Loco.
