Cody Rhodes To Ring Of Honor?

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is heading to Ring of Honor, according to a tweet.

Rhodes will be appearing in Ring of Honor's Final Battle pay-per-view in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on December 2nd. Rhodes tweeted the following.

After asking for his release from WWE and getting that release back in May, Rhodes has been all over the map, from competing at EVOLVE to appearing at Ric Flair's podcast. Aside from a planned match against Kurt Angle at Northeast Wrestling's "Wrestling Under the Stars" event in late August, this is the biggest event Rhodes will be appearing since being released.

It has been rumored for the past few days that Rhodes may be competing for Ring of Honor. It is still unclear if he will be appearing on a full time or part time basis or even only a couple of appearances.

As we reported exclusively on Fightful.com, Rhodes had been tight-lipped regarding his WWE release after the company had a "gag" order on him until July 1.
