Cody Rhodes discusses his visit to Marvel Studios from back in August, noting it was ‘a wonderful meeting with wonderful people.’
Back in August, Cody would take to social media to share a photo of himself visiting Marvel studios, and has yet to confirm any tidbits from the meeting about what potential role he could have in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While speaking to Brandon Davis in a new interview, Cody Rhodes would be asked if he has been asked much about the meeting while doing media for Street Fighter.
“You know, there’s one guy (Andrew Schulz) in particular who was sitting next to me on this couch pretty much all day who is teasing things that aren’t real, and if they were real, I wouldn’t say anything, and guessing characters that are great, great characters because I grew up I mean, I learned every Marvel character you could from the trading cards, and then, of course, I had the animated series, and we have it again now. It’s been heavily discussed, but I never discuss it. That’s the beauty. I’ve said nothing other than that was just a photo at a wonderful office after a wonderful meeting with wonderful people. (It’s a pretty cool office.) Yeah, it is, really, and also the whole history. If they had said to you, hey, this character, something like that, and you go in there, there’s a whole library. You could take 30 minutes and go, got it, know it, you know?”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Cody spoke about what WWE superstars could fit in in the World Warrior tournament. You can read more about that here.
