Cody Rhodes Wins Undisputed WWE Championship On 3/6 WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes is the new Undisputed WWE Champion.

Following Drew McIntyre’s interference at Elimination Chamber 2026, an Undisputed WWE Championship match was announced between McIntyre and Cody Rhodes for the 3/6 WWE SmackDown.

Both wrestlers traded each other’s finishers during the bout. Fans also saw Cody Rhodes grab a table from underneath the ring. But he ended up getting powerbombed by McIntyre.

Towards the end of the match, the referee got knocked out after an accidental Disaster Kick from Rhodes. A Cross Rhodes from Cody put McIntyre down, but there was no referee.

As another official made his way to the ring, McIntyre hit the Claymore on Cody, but the latter kicked out. Shortly after, the Undisputed WWE Champion headbutted the new referee. He then brought a steel chair to the ring but was stopped by Jacob Fatu.

Cody went for a rollup, but couldn’t get the pin. Drew then hit him with a future shock DDT. He went for a Claymore, but Cody escaped.

The American Nightmare finally won the match after a super cutter followed by Cross Rhodes. Cody is the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
