Cody Rhodes Would Tell Dusty Rhodes, ‘I Hope I Lived Up To Your Name, And Sorry About The Tattoo’

Cody Rhodes comments on what he would say to his dad after he finished the story.

Cody Rhodes' mission to finish the story stems from his dream of wanting to win the WWE World Championship in honor of his father, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. Cody did just that in the main event of WrestleMania XL Night Two, as he beat Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

During the WWE WrestleMania XL Night Two Press Conference, Alistair McGeorge of Metro asked Cody what he would say to his father if he could.

"If I’m being honest, I think I would want to say to him, ‘I hope I lived up to your name. Thank you for that name.’ Then I would say, ‘Sorry about the tattoo,'" Rhodes said.

Cody previously revealed that he thought the tattoo would be smaller. Check out his comments here.
