Yesterday on the final day of World Tag League action, EVIL and SANADA defeated the IWGP Tag Team Champions the Guerrillas Of Destiny to win the World Tag League tournament for the second consecutive year in a row. As the Los Ingobernables de Japon members were celebrating their victory, Matt and Nick Jackson made their way to the ring and stated that they never received their rematch for the Tag Titles after losing them to Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa at NJPW's 'Fighting Spirit Unleashed' in September. The Young Bucks will get their rematch as they have been added to the Wrestle Kingdom 13 IWGP Tag Team Championships match featuring EVIL and SANADA and the champions the Guerrillas Of Destiny.

Juice Robinson captured the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship from "Switchblade" Jay White this past July at NJPW's G1 Special show in San Francisco. The following month Juice went into the G1 Climax 28 tournament and his momentum did not carry over and he went into a slump that led him to dropping the U.S. Heavyweight Title to Cody at 'Fighting Spirit Unleashed'. Cody, who is battling a knee injury at the moment has promised that he will not miss Wrestle Kingdom and today he was announced to be defending his gold against Juice at the Tokyo Dome come January 4th.

Also announced for Wrestle Kingdom was a gauntlet match to determine a new #1 contenders to the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships that are currently being held Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Taiji Ishimori. The gauntlet match will be on the pre-show and the winners of the #1 contenders match will challenge for the 6-Man Tag Titles at New Years Dash the day after Wrestle Kingdom 13.
