Contract Signing Taking Place On SmackDown Live For AJ Styles And Samoa Joe's WWE Championship Match At Super Show-Down

The boss lady has spoken.

At the 'Hell In A Cell' PPV last Sunday, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles battled for more than just the WWE Championship as this match was also about AJ defending his family's honor. The match between the two former TNA World Heavyweight Champions ended in controversial fashion. Samoa Joe locked in his "Coquina Clutch" submission but AJ Styles was able to flip his body over and had Joe's shoulders pinned to the mat. The referee was only in position to see one side of AJ's body and on the other side AJ tapped out to the "Coquina Clutch" but the referee counted Joe down for the three count and AJ retained the WWE Championship.

A furious Samoa Joe then made his way to the backstage area to talk with SmackDown Live GM Paige about the final decision of the match and she reminded Joe that he has a rematch for the WWE Championship at Super Show-Down on October 6th. Today, Paige announced via Twitter that in Joe and AJ's rematch, there will no NO-DQ's and no-countouts and to make things official, there will be a contract signing held this upcoming Tuesday on SmackDown Live.
