Cora Jade Turns On Roxanne Perez, Costs Her NXT Women's Championship Opportunity

Cora Jade has already turned on her Tag Team Championship partner just 7 days after they won the Tag Team Titles.

WWE NXT 2.0 kicked off on July 12 with Roxanne Perez getting attacked in the parking lot and the entire episode was spent on a whodunit regarding her attack and questioning whether or not she would even compete in the advertised main event against Mandy Rose for the WWE NXT Women's Championship.

By the end of the night, Mandy Rose was ready to call it a forfeit when Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez’s Tag Team Championship partner came out to fight the group on her friend's behalf.

Everyone was stunned when Roxanne actually made her way to the ring despite the injured ribs and competed in the main event coming ever so close to winning the championship before Cora Jade hit her from behind with one of the NXT Tag Team Championship belts and revealed that it was her all along.

In the end, Mandy Rose retained her title and the show went off the air with Cora Jade beating Roxanne Perez with her skateboard.
