Corey Graves has been cleared.

On January 12, Fightful Select reported Graves had been cleared by doctors in 2020 and was no longer on the strict internal "no contact" list that the company keeps.

Speaking to TMZ, Graves confirmed he's been cleared by the company.

"I went and spent some time with doctors middle of last year. I kinda got the itch. This is one of the first times I'm saying this publicly. I have been medically cleared to compete. It's not an immediate goal of mine, it was just something I needed to know for my own sanity. My journey in the ring got cut short and it's kinda eaten at me for years, always wondering what if, what if there's a chance, what if there's an opportunity ... so I went and did the necessary steps and it turns out I'm more okay than I thought I was," he said.

Graves retired from the ring in 2014 due to concussion issues to become a full-time broadcaster with WWE. He is currently the color commentator on WWE Raw.

He and Carmella are set to be part of a new reality series that will air on WWE's YouTube channel.

It is unknown if or when Graves will officially return to the ring.
