Corey Graves Provides Update On Carmella After Dive At The Royal Rumble

Corey Graves provides an update on Carmella's health after she took a scary spill to the floor at the WWE Royal Rumble event.

Sasha Banks and Carmella continued their rivalry at the 2021 Royal Rumble event. Carmella's sommelier, Reginald played a role in the early going of the match as he has in everything Carmela has done since he was brought in to be a part of her repackaging and latest gimmick change.

Following the referee ejecting Reginald from ringside at the 2021 Royal Rumble event, Carmella went for a suicide dive attempt on Sasha Banks and while Sasha caught her, Carmella did hit her face on the ringside floor.

On the most recent WWE After the Bell podcast, Corey Graves, Carmella's real life boyfriend provided an update on her health and what was going through his mind when she hit the floor on Sunday, January 31.

Yes, I'm biased, but I enjoyed the hell out of Sasha Banks and Carmella. I think since Carmella has come back, she has stepped up her game. I know for a fact that she's studying harder than ever, training harder than ever, I think it's starting to pay off.

“Anyone watching when that dive happened and Carmella went sailing through the bottom rope, and I believe it’s known as a scorpion --that’s what my kids call it when we watch fail videos [and] when somebody’s feet hit the back of their head-- it was not a good time. She landed face-first and I’m pretty sure she kicked herself in the back of the head. She was a little banged up but she’s still alive, she’s still kicking, she’ll be alright.”

Corey Graves would then commend Sasha Banks and say that regardless of what he says on television, he considers Sasha Banks to be the most complete women's professional wrestler in the game today.
