Corey Graves Says It Might Be Fun For Him To Step Into An AAA Ring

Corey Graves retired as an active in-ring competitor in 2014 due to concussion issues, transitioning to the announce table.

He has since been cleared to return and won the WWE 24/7 Title in 2021, but has not made an official in-ring return.

Speaking to Mark Hoke on the Mark Hoke Show, Graves was asked when he might step foot into the ring again.

“I did go and get medically cleared several years back when it seemed like there was going to be an opportunity. Obviously, plans change as things change in the industry. I got a little stagnant after that, but I’m proud to report that I’ve been back in the gym for the past several months just to see how I feel. AAA might be fun for me to step foot into that. My younger brother (Sam Adonis) had a great deal of success in AAA over the years. Maybe I’ll follow in his footsteps. That could be kind of fun. Never say never,” he said.

Graves serves as an announcer on WWE Raw and AAA.
