Corey Graves Wants WWE To Find A Better Role For Matt Hardy, Thinks Matt Should Do Creative Work

Matt Hardy has teased his potential exit from WWE for the last few months on YouTube and Twitter, but as of now, he remains under contract. His contract is set to expire in March and he has reportedly not yet signed a new deal.

Hardy said on social media following his match on Raw last Monday, a quick loss to Erick Rowan, that he hopes fans enjoy his WWE television appearances because, at this rate, there won't be many more.

And though Corey Graves is unsure of Hardy's status in WWE, he hopes the two parties are able to find common ground.

"Matt is a master at being creative and creating doubt and raising questions amongst the internet wrestling community," said Graves on WWE After The Bell. "Let's be honest, Matt can play us all like fiddles when it comes to his videos. It's no secret that Matt has been hinting to the fact that maybe his days in WWE are numbered. I certainly hope that's not the case. I also want to know why someone as creatively gifted as Matt Hardy isn't asked or invited to contribute in a creative role. I don't know that he's been vocal about that anywhere but the television locker room, where we sit and complain about life. I think Matt Hardy would be a great addition to the creative end of things in WWE. We've seen what he's capable of on his own, outside of WWE. The guy's resume speaks for itself. He is of great value and importance. Let's do right by Matt. I don't even know if that's what he wants. I'm going out and saying, Matt Hardy, find your role in WWE and embrace it. WWE, find a better role for Matt Hardy."

Matt has taken to his YouTube channel to tease fans on his future by bringing back past characters and mentioning that he's in limbo. You can watch the latest episode of Matt's Free The Delete series by clicking here.
