Creative Pushes Made For Oba Femi To Be Featured Prominently At WWE WrestleMania 42

There are reportedly big plans for Femi.

After successfully defending the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil, Oba Femi celebrated his win and then proceeded to leave the NXT Title belt in the ring.

For several weeks, vignettes for Femi have been airing on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. There was a note about Femi that was shared by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, and it was stated that creative pushes are being made for Femi to be featured prominently at WWE WrestleMania 42.

On the undercard for John Cena’s final match event was a singles match between Femi and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The bout resulted in a disqualification as Drew McIntyre got involved to target Rhodes.
