It appears that "Big Mike" is still in hot water with wrestling fans.
It was reported here last month on Fightful, that former IWGP Intercontinental Champion Michael Elgin was accused of discrediting a woman who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by another pro-wrestler. Moses, who is the woman that says she was sexually assualted, would go to release screenshots of her and Michael Elgin's conversations. Elgin then decided to take legal action against the woman for demation of character by way of the screenshotted messages between the two. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp was able to get Elgin's lawyer, Steven Kratky, to issue Fightful a press release regarding the subject, which you can read by clicking here.
During Saturday's AAW Pro-Wrestling event, Michael Elgin made an appearance and fans showed their dislike for the former Ring Of Honor World Champion. "Big Mike" competed against Myron Reed and there was no question about who was the heel and babyface in the contest. Elgin lost in shortly over 4 minutes to two 450 splashes from Reed.
AAW promoter, Danny Daniels, did go onto to Twitter to apologize to fans who were not happy with Elgin being booked on the show and noted that his intent was just to put out the best match card that he possibly could.
