Crowd Chants ‘New Day Rocks’ During WWE Backlash Countdown
The crowd gave its support to New Day during the Countdown to WWE Backlash.
Outside of Benchmark International Arena ahead of Backlash, the crowd chanted “New Day Rocks” and “We Want Melo” as Big E, Corey Graves, Michael Cole, and Peter Rosenberg spoke at the analyst table.

Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods departed WWE last Saturday in a reported mutual decision after they were reportedly asked to restructure their contracts. Kingston has been with the company since 2006 while Woods joined in 2010. The group, which was comprised of Woods, Kingston, and Big E, formed in 2014. Big E was kicked out of the group in 2024.
