Cruz Montana: I’m Not Putting A Timetable On NXT Run, I Want To Learn As Much As Possible

Cruz Montana (formerly Mike Santana) is one week into his NXT run, debuting last Tuesday and speaking for the first time on the July 28 episode of NXT.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Cruz was asked how long he would like to stay in NXT before moving to the main roster.

“I had this conversation before. I’m not putting a timetable on anything. I’m here. I’m going to go with the flow. I’m going to harvest as much knowledge as I possibly can, whether it’s six months, eight months, or twelve months. However long I have, it’s my job to attain as much as possible. That’s my plan. I want to learn as much as possible and being able to work under Shawn Michaels is a pleasure and a gift in itself. One the greatest to ever do it. For me, to be able to learn from him and take in that knowledge, however long I can do it, I’m going to do it,” said Cruz.

Cruz is a former two-time TNA Champion who appeared on NXT TV as the TNA Champion.

Elsewhere during the interview, Cruz discussed his decision to leave TNA. You can find his full comments here.
